Isaiah Thomas is averaging 29.4 ppg this season so far. The last Celtic closest to this ppg average was Paul Pierce with 26.8 in 2005-06. Can he keep it up?

Hey all, I know IT has had a very hot month or so in terms of his scoring. I was doing some research, as it had been a very long time since the Celtics have had a player put up these kind of scoring numbers. As you all probably know, or could have figured, in the Big 3 era KG Allen and Pierce all put up around 20ish ppg, as was needed. I figured Paul Pierce would be the last Celtic to put up close to 30 ppg, and the closest he ever got was 26.8. (previously, the only other Celtics to do it were McHale, Bird, and Havlicek, posting higher than 26 ppg for the season)

Anyways, where do you think IT will end up at the conclusion of the season in terms of PPG? Do you think we'll see a "game of averages" scenario and he ends up back in the low 20s as his recent ppg's have been?

Again, it's been a real long time since we've had a guy putting up these types of scoring numbers, and its really exciting. Gotta soak it up.
