There are many question marks for the upcoming season but whilst most of the focus has been on Dwight, the hawks season could be completely derailed by poor form or injury at the point guard position.
The depth chart has massive question marks everywhere. Schroder has big question marks as a starter. We are hoping for improvement but it may not happen. At back up is Delaney who has never played in the NBA and Jack who will be coming back at some stage from an ACL injury.
That just looks way too shallow for a team trying to make the playoffs. What happens if Schroder turns his ankle (or worse) in the first week of the season. Are the hawks just really optimistic on Schroder and Delaney or is there something else in the works. Can Bazemore play point guard, or can they play without one? With Hill and Exum added to the Jazz rotation can the Hawks get Shelvin Mack back when needed?
When Mack, Schroder and Teague were together, the Hawks had some of the best point guard depth in the league. Now it is potentially their biggest weakness.
