By "pieces" I mean contract fodder such as Scott + Delaney, and for "picks" I'm thinking two first rounders (ATL's 2017 and the MIN top 14 protected).
Regardless of whether the Hawks organization would want to pay out the rest of Carmelo's contract or if he would waive his NTC, I'm curious what the Atlanta fan perspective would be on a Carmelo-Millsap-Dwight foundation. Would be a pretty competitive team in the top 4 of the East, in my opinion, and if it fails then the team can easily blow it up in 2-3 years.
