Millsap's officially off the trading block(!), but the Hawks still have plenty of other assets -- they just picked up a 2019 first-rounder from Cleveland, they still have Minnesota's 2018 first-rounder, they still have their own draft picks, and they also have second-rounders from the two worst teams in the NBA right now (so those picks almost count as first-rounders too, right?). They've also got a lot of potential salary filler (i.e. guys on decent-sized expiring contracts who aren't playing many minutes) -- so it would make all kinds of sense to package one or two of those guys together with those draft picks, and trade them to a losing/tanking team for a quality player who could push the Hawks over the top (Jimmy Butler? Brook Lopez? Danilo Gallinari? Jusuf Nurkic? Wes Matthews? RUDY GAY?!?!).
