It seems like those 3 guys plus some late picks might be able to gte us someone that another team would like to trade- (3 names come to mind Howard, Melo and Lopez- but don't get hung up on the names.)
Now I get the downside is that whatever chance we had to sign a max or high payed player this summer goes out the window. I'm ok with that. I'm more concerned about how the new CBA works to resign your own players. Lets say we turned thse 3 guys into D Howard and things really went well for us and Ainge decided to just try and keep everyone and develop the young guys. Now when AB and IT and Jae and Smart come up for bigger contracts could we give them out and just go way over the cap?
