Questions regarding Hayward and cap.

So like most of us, I have gotten caught up in all of the Jae Crowder/Gordon Hayward drama. One question I have for people who want the Cs to sign him this summer, which seems to be like a decent amount as evidenced by the cheering. I feel as though some teams with a lot of money will offer something ridiculous for Hayward this summer, just like what has happened with good players, and even worse ones. The celtics have enough cap to sign another max player, but why would we waste some or all of that on someone who I don't think is the final piece. Hayward, in my opinion has great numbers partly because he's good, and partly because he's on the Jazz. I'm not saying that they're a bad team, but he is their primary scoring threat. On this team, he don't need perimeter scoring as much now as we did with Isaiah and Bradley improving their scoring ability. Additionally, I would take Jae's defense over his in a heartbeat. Since I don't think he would make us a contender, I don't think we should waste our money on him, with the hopes of signing or trading for someone else, preferably a big man who can rebound well, who could actually help us make the leap to contending for a title.

TLDR: Hayward not worth the money that we could eventually use on someone better who we need more.
