Late Pick Prospects

There will undoubtedly be a ton of discussion regarding the Brooklyn pick swap, but I'd like to put some names out there for our later picks.

I see the team as having a few major needs at the moment:

rim protection rebounding wing scoring

There are obviously other needs as well, but I decided to start the conversation by focusing in these areas. I have been comparing early mock drafts found: (http://ift.tt/1T3Uzu0) and (http://ift.tt/1E0a1ED) and top 100 lists for prospects and seeing who is expected to be available when we are picking.

MINNESOTA SECOND ROUND (~34 ESTIMATED at this point)

CANDIDATES:

PF/C

Mathias Lessort 6'9" 21 years old, international (muscle and hustle guy with limited offense outside of rim runs and tips)

Wing

Justin Jackson 6'8" 21 years old, UNC (great passer, spot up shooter, team first mentality)

Strengths: http://ift.tt/2iY0fNB

Weaknesses: http://ift.tt/2j7LZ24

Cameron Oliver 6'8" 20 years old, Nevada (great on the boards/above the rim, rim protects and has a jumper - I love the idea of this guy learning from Al)

Strengths: http://ift.tt/2iXTD1G

Weaknesses: http://ift.tt/2j7FA6P

Nigel Hayes 6'7" 22 years old (versatile, long, strong, perimeter defender)

Strengths: http://ift.tt/2iY3Lrv

CLIPPERS SECOND ROUND (~55 ESTIMATED AT THE MOMENT)

CANDIDATES:

Caleb Swanigan 6'9" 20 years old (Muscle on the boards and a decent jumper)

There are clearly a plethora of other prospects worth paying attention to, but I wanted to give us a starting point for conversation. So, who do you like? If you were constructing a draft from these picks, what would it look like?
