In looking at IT's impact on the defensive side of the ball , he has been dramatically worse this year then he was last year.
Is this strictly because he is putting in more effort offensively or is there something else that he is doing differently on D this year that has made his D slip so much?
Dont get me wrong, I love IT as much as the next Celtics fan but IMHO the difference when it comes to MVP talk between a player like IT vs Kawai is that when Kawai improves offensively it doesnt detract from his impact defensively which is not the case w IT
