Should we go after him?
He was averaging 5 ppg, 3.4 apg, on 41/27/72 shooting. And he only played around 12 a game. If Bud's system and Dwight's shooting trainer were to work their magic on him, we could really be seeing a lot of potential surrounding Bennet. He can develop into a nice back up big, and he's ONLY 23!!!
Take a look at this:
His per-36 numbers are 15.7 ppg, 10.6 rpg, and 1.6 apg. This is seriously worth talking about, as if we just gave him about 18 a game, we could have serious value for Bennett.
We could just sign him to a very cheap contract of $1-$2 Mil. and see where it goes from there. Maybe assign him to the D-League for now and stuff.
