Earlier today my post was silenced (locked) because it was accused of being too "circlejerky". When I tried to raise the alarm about my concerns about being arbitrarily locked in another post the same mod quickly deleted it. He/she finally unlocked my previous one (without apology and only after some unpleasant PM's were exchanged)
Needless to say I felt fucking pissed that we could be silenced by the mods so quickly even if you are not violating posting guidelines. I started off by saying this is not a "fuck the mods post" and it DEFINITELY is not meant to be. They are great people who do their work for free - which in today's world is highly commendable and deserves respect.
That being said we need a referendum for new rules on this sub. Everyone would get a Yes or No vote on issues - similar to what we had in this years political referendum. There would need to be multiple questions. I already have two that I would like which I alluded to briefly in my previous post. If you can think of any others it would be greatly apprecaited - please add them below.
I will need help. I have never set up a a vote like this before - so any of you techno savvy Celtics Fam out there with any ideas on how to set it up that would be greatly appreciated. Also any Celtics Fam who can help me set up the rules of the referendum would be great.
Lastly I would also greatly appreciate any feedback from the mods and questions they want added. I realize there are reasons behind the rules. But maybe there is a way to keep the spirit of the laws that we have now - which the mods seem to favor - but with added flexibility. BUT in the end that should be determined by the community by voting on it and the community will need to decide as a whole what the right course of action will be.
