They interviewed Bud following the loss and regarding the ejection he said, "I didn't see the play, I didn't even see it on replay."
They interviewed Korver next, and same deal. "I didn't see anything happen. Turned around, saw them both on the ground. Didn't see the replay."
There's actually a 0% chance that neither of them saw the incident if you watch the replay and I'm actually pretty happy about the show of solidarity. While Dwights actions were inexcusable and indefensible, that doesn't mean the team can't still exercise this opportunity to show their support for him and not directly condemn him.
And honestly, for a guy like Dwight who absolutely cares what other people think about him, this is huge. I'll take the L because honestly I feel like the team handled the situation in a way that grows the team. It's an 82 game season and Dwight knows now, "even if I fuck up in crunch time, even if I lose my cool and blow a game, these guys have my back and I have theirs."
