I get we don't want this sub to become just a bunch of Instagram posts and YouTube links like r/sixers - and I like that - but we have to find a happy medium somehow.

I know this has been discussed ad nauseum in r/bostonceltics but it's so damn frustrating sometimes.

This got removed this morning. I know it is a circle jerk thread - but it is current (in accordance with the posting guidelines) Celtics News and it was major sequence in the game last night by a player who hasn't played in a while. A little circle jerking is not going to kill this sub. I love our mods. Nothing but respect for them - they give of their own time and they do a great job - but this sub is too dry and too strict IMO. Is there happy medium somehow without becoming r/sixers?

For example can we let u/Timi093 post highlights here. I get not wanting all 17k of of us doing it but damn that man puts a lot of work into those videos and we should support him. Has anyone seen the LakersFilmRoom videos. He gets so much love in r/lakers and I am sure it encourages him to make more great content. We should allow for a "safe list" of certain content creators to post here without restriction. We will be encouraging other Celtics Fam to create similar great content.

Another idea is to make Celtics Social media easier to find on this sub. Fuck the Lakers but their sidebar setup is awesome - can we implement something like that here?

Any other ideas from you guys to finding a happy medium? Mods can you chime in here please?
