Celtics are in for a Road Test

Only 5 of the next 16 Celtics games will be at the TD Garden. With a (finally) fully healthy squad, IT talked about wanting to string a few wins and trying to build some momentum. Well, they would have to do it on the road.

For the next 16 games, Celtics are travelling a total distance of 14282.125 miles, about 30.6% of their travel distance for this season. Schedule-makers be cray! Good news is they only have one back-to-back during that stretch and one that shouldn't prove to be difficult (SAC-@PHI).

After the players-only meeting, the Celtics have ramped up their defensive intensity (2nd in defensive rating during the six-game stretch) and have significantly improved their rebounding. Although the shooting and overall offense have slipped, they're slowly getting back to their hard-hat mentality and grit-and-balls identity.

They're off to a good start after winning in Detroit where the Pistons haven't lost prior to last night. I wish I could remember some of the things KG and Pierce said about going on the road but with Jae and Al back, this'll be a perfect opportunity to build chemistry heading into our much-anticipated Christmas matchup vs. the superteam New York Knicks lol.

Time to make some noise on the road! Let's go, Celtics!
