The team is gearing up for the playoffs and as always, we are looking for the new playoff banner to usher in some wins. In the words of /u/dangercart...
If anyone with good photoshop and design skills wants to make a banner for the sub for the playoffs we could use it. It would need to be either 150px high and keep the gold trim or 160px high and go to the green bars. It should be pretty wide but with the main focus in the middle; the extreme left/right edges need to fade to white so it can work with large and small displays. I'm not re-doing the rest of the design so it would also need to look ok with the current color scheme, though obviously more than just the green/white/gold could be used.
The banner would fill the main white bar and temporarily replace the logo, name, retired numbers, and championships banner. I can't promise we'll actually use your work (especially if multiple people make something) and it would need to look pretty awesome to switch over but it would be nice to have something special in the design for the playoffs.
It's a fun thing and we're lucky enough to have plenty of talented people in the community who've put together some great stuff before. You don't have to look farther then /u/antoinewhitewalker 's masterpiece. Any submissions should go here in the thread.
To fuel the hype/excitement. We'll also be putting up pre-game threads early the day of. Videos, pictures, and other 'hype' type stuff is welcome and encouraged within the threads, and should give us all a good place to get rambuncious.
If you guys have any "playoffs-centric" feeback for the mods or maybe the community at large, this is the place to put it.
