Man last night's game was great not just because we won but because Brad Stevens delivered a metric shit ton of coal to the Jordan Mickey hypetrain. He was the only young'n in the game and only played a hair over 7 minutes but that was more than enough for him to be productive.
In the time it would've taken you to hear "Hey Jude" Mickey went out there and nabbed 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks (he nearly blocked a 3rd one that somehow managed to still make it to the basket) lighting a much needed spark for the Celtics in the first half. To top it all off he was +7 in that span, highlighting how impactful for the C's with him on the floor.
With games like tonight we might just see more of Mickey in the near future, at least till Olynyk gets back from the clinic. If anything we can sleep sound knowing our big man of the future might already be in store just waiting to be unwrapped. Look at how happy he was in his postgame interview.
