Watching the race to tankapalooza as well as the eastern conference playoff race has got me thinking...
would you rather:
- Be the 2 seed in the playoffs (and face a team like the hornets or pistons with home court. Keep in mind a great chance of making ECF), BUT have the 5th overall pick in the draft (via nets)
- Be the 8 seed in the playoffs (and face the Cavs 1st rd, no home court advantage), but have the 2nd pick in the draft
I personally would take the second option. Having the second pick as opposed to the 5th would make its WORLDS easier to landing a superstar via trade. Worst case you dont make a trade and you end up grabbing Brandon Ingram for the future.
