I absolutely loved his dad as a player, hes not his dad obviously but with Zeller and Sullinger free agents we'll most likely lose one of them. Plus the way Amir Johnson's contract was structured there is a good possibility we cut him before it becomes guaranteed.
There is a possibility we lose all three but I doubt that would happen, I'd prefer to keep Zeller on the cheap and let Sully go. I would keep Amir based on how our Free Agent signings go. If we were to get Horford but make no other splashes then keeping Amir would be best. These are our possible big men next season.

So all that said I myself would be pretty happy if we used our 1st round pick and Dallas's to move up into the 10-15 range to grab Sabonis.
I am not an expert but one would assume from highlights and pedigree that he has very good footwork in the post as well as post moves. A high basketball IQ, he appears to be in great shape from everything I've seen. He does not have the incredible size his dad had, perhaps less athletic too but I am unsure. He has good rebounding numbers 5th in RPG. He is out rebounding players like Ben Simmons in fewer minutes played.
Maybe if we got the 1st overall pick this would be unnecessary but as a backup plan if we fell to 4 or 5 wouldn't trading that 5th pick for an established player and moving into the teens for Sabonis be a good alternative?
What do you all think of Sabonis?
