The likely hood of our top three picks for the next three years becoming a dynasty is insanely slim. Come on guys, often the best players in the draft end up going like 10th. Assuming that the nets pick all hit is so irrational. Trading for Butler or George when we already have a top 5 point guard, Horford, and great depth gives us a much better chance of winning a title. I discount the argument that Golden State is still better, because guess what: They were sure as hell were better than Cleveland last year. Also, what if we don't make a move and the Rockets or the Spurs end up in the finals? Opportunity missed. Not saying that keeping the Brooklyn picks is a bad idea, just that we should stop making such biased assumptions and look at what realistically gives us a better chance at winning.
Jimmy Butler is 27 Paul George is 26 Isaiah Thomas is 28
Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen were all in their 30s when we brought them together.
