I'm a web dev and I was tinkering around trying to get a custom text flair in /r/nba which they have disabled manually except for the flairup app, which limits it to just the names of the athletes. Luckily I figured out a way to do it over there #sparetime
First go to the flair mini reddit-app that they have http://ift.tt/1EIAHmw
Choose any Hawks flair, then just type a player's name. Make sure to choose the name
Then in that same page type javascript: in the URL, then copy and paste this right next to it
$("#player-value").val("Dwight Howard's shoulders")
then press submit in the button all the way down. lol you now got a custom text flair. If you want a flair besides "Dwight Howard's shoulders" (like why), do not use any double quotes(because itll mess up the code) or HTML tags or itll be too suspect from the mods
