While Bradley's out, trying to address our size and rebounding problem any way we can... Jaylen is young and athletic enough to run with most SGs and can fight through screens, would provide a definite size advantage with the starting unit, and it would be great experience for him. I would love to see what a IT-Jaylen-JC-Kelly-Big Al unit would do with some extended minutes.
I know there are mixed feelings on Kelly, but there is no question that he has been more effective on both sides of the ball than Amir Johnson, who can't shoot, can't space the floor, can't slide up to defend on switches, and is a poor rebounder. And Kelly seems to get into a nice rhythm when he's out there for any length of time.
Thoughts?
