I think a big part of our offensive struggle is due to the lack of offense from our backup point guard. Although Schroder is doing a decent job as the starting point guard, Delaney is a downgrade as a backup both offensively and defensively. I think it's wise to replace our 4th string big, Ryan Kelly with a 3rd string offensive-minded point guard that can give us some offensive boost that we need off the bench similar to what Schroder gave us in the previous seasons.
A player from the d-league that I think can give us that offensive boost: Chasson Randle (6'2, 185). He played well in summer league, preseason and in the d-league. Averaging over 21 points with 44% FG% and 41% 3P%. He have good length (6'7 wingspan), speed and athleticism (39.5 vertical). I think he is really intriguing and worth a shot as the third string point guard for our team.
